Yesterday, I went out with the SKY.

We ate at PastaMania, CineLeisure. We had combo meals and all that =D
We sat there from 4ish? and ate until Sam came. Which was like, 6ish?

Longest I've ever sat in PastaMania.

And they had plans to watch a movie, but it was cancelled as there wasn't many seats left.
By then, Pam and I were at the 'Crepes' place, eating a delicious Choco Crave Crepe. Oiishi-desu!!!

And they are the sweetest people I know! They surprised me with a small little cake for one!

It really caught me off guard! I mean, one moment I'm eating that crepe, and the next moment they were all singing 'Happy Birthday'.

And the cute little strawberry cheesecake for one was really for one! And they are still unwilling to tell me where they got the cake from; I found it really nice! =D

And Pam, I think I would have found the place you guy got the cake from in 70 years time. Haha!

Oh, and I've received a nice, star chain!!!

In case you all didn't know, STAR is my favourite shape.

I'm a very contradicting person.

One moment I can be all:

"You shouldn't go after the guy! Make him want you!"

And the next moment, I'm all:

"Go after him, woman. He's leaving!!!"

And also, I may be the reason guys become gay, and girls become lesbian.

To girls, I'll usually be like this:

"You are the girl. Make he like you. That pretty much assures the relationship stability or something like that."

However, to Guys, I'll be:

"Uncle! Go after her! But very discreetly. Make her want you. But you have to always make the first initiative."

See? Gosh, I should stop being like this. So contradicting, So..

fickle-minded?

Wait a minute, as a female, technically I'm allowed to be fickle-minded.
If only you can read this now.

I came by this anime, and I was suprised by the first episode of it.

I've always thought that the name 'bartender' came from the fact that you have someone tending the bar.

However, in this anime, they say that the word 'bartender' came from these two words:

'Bar'

and

'Tender'

'Tender' as in the feeling 'tender'.

This show gave me a new perspective of bartenders. =)

I just turned 17 at 20:02, yesterday.

This is actually the best birthday that I've celebrated so far im my life.

In celebration of my birthday, I...

1) Celebrated with my family on Sunday. Cousins and all =)

2) My dearest classmates surprised me with a Chocolate cake around 12am yesterday,

3) And I went for Sakae Sushi with my Mum and Dad.

And just when I couldn't ask for more,

My Nanny turns up today and gave me my gift.

And I got to see baby Alexavier too!

Gosh, he looks like his Dad!!!

The plan today was to go out to Grand Seasons and get Daphne's pay check.

Read that sentence again, I said: Daphne's pay check.

I didn't expect to get mine as well. I thought That since I worked for only 2 days, I won't get anything. Afterall, I thought I had to work for a minimum of 3 days to get paid.

But after 2 days of work, I received an amount of $84.50. =DDDDD

For 2 days of slack working, I'd say I got off good. =)

And I baked cookies today! The recipe I used was the one I took off the Hershey's semisweet chocolate chip wrapper. I was flipping through my recipe file (yes, I do have a recipe file), and I saw that little piece of plastic with the recipe on it.

It's really simple recipe, and I got all the ingredients I need at home. The best part was:

I didn't even had to use the eletric mixer!
Thus, easy cleaning for me!!! Woot!

So, I officially say that baking cookies are easier than baking cakes. =DD

And also, I used icing sugar instead of granulated sugar, I added about 5-6 tablespoons.

INGREDIENTS

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tap salt
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 cups Hershey's semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

METHOD

1. Heat oven to 375 degrees C.
2. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt.
3. In another mixing bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown suagr and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until creamy.
4. Add eggs; beat well.
5. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts, if desired.
6. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
7. Bake 8-10 mins or until lightly browned. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.

Makes about 5 dozen cookies.

My mum told me that it's my chinese birthday today.

Apparently, I was born on this lunar date 17 years ago.

This birthday made me realised that my birthday's drawing near.

You know, I kinda forgot about my birthday. I've been celebrating other people's birthday that I forgot about mine. Come to think of it, I know why.
All I got then were birthday wishes and 1-2 presents. I feel pathetic sometimes.
My birthday has always fallen sround the post-exam periods. All the checking of papers were never good news. Urgh. =(

But not this year! It's still holidays for me! Lucky me (:

Now, since we're on the topic of birthdays, I'll add my birthday wish list here!!! =D
It's really short. So don't worry. =D

1. Christina Aguilera's Back to Basics CD!!!

And actually, that's mainly it. I promised it would be short.

Please, please! I really want that CD. I've been putting it as number 1 in ALL of my wishlists.
I've wanted it since it came out! It's a 2 CDs album, thus it's not possible to download all of them. Can you imagine the amount of space it'll take up on my C drive?!

So can someone get me that CD? PLEASEEEE???? [with sugar and cherry on top?]

Okay, after reading all of that,
I sound like a whiny kid.

Come to think of it, I wondered why I never went to buy it...

Oh yeah, it was because I spent money on food instead. I swear I'll faint if I don't eat anything for one whole day.

This is one reason why I admire the Muslims. They are so strong (:

Now, if you don't want to get me the CD, it's ok! Just get me a small chocolate cake from 4leaves or Chocz or some other place, I'll be happy! =DD

But if you want more materialistic stuff, earrings and accessories will do fine too =DD

Ah, what the heck, cookies will be great too! But if it ain't all that nice, I'll comment on it. When it comes to food, I'm merciless.

Bwahahahahahaha!!!

And I think I'm gonna go bake cookies soon. =D

I've just realised that I have yet to post up on my Genting trip. Since it's been so long, I decided to just post about the food there! I'll be typing from what I remember though!

Day 2's Dinner!

[ Thai Styled Chicken ]

This dish can be found in Singapore too! I like!! It's sweet, and sour.. and the chicken skin has a crispy feel to it! =D

[ Marmite Chicken Wings ]

I love this one. It's sweet, and very very very tasty!!! I haven't found this in Singapore though...
And I never knew that Marmite is sweet!

I didn't get to take pictures of the rest of the dishes, but that dinner was really pleasent! I ate to my fill!

Day 3's Lunch!

Ok, I know saying that I ate KFC for lunch seem nothing interesting, but you know those rumors about how Malaysia's KFC is nicer than Singapore's?

Well, they are true.

I'm not kidding. Although the chicken they use there are Kampong Chicken, they weren't tough at all! BCS students did learn that Kampong Chicken is less tender than...

Well, non-kampong chicken.

But although it is that case, the chicken isn't tough at all! It's really nice, and pretty tender! It's juicy as well!!! =DD

Last Night, I baked cheesecake with Jaime and LiHui!

But we baked all the way into the night! the two of them returned home at 12ish!

Today, I followed Eugene to Acer buliding as his poor lappie (laptop) crashed. Poor Lappie...
All of his files, gone. If that was my lappie, I'll cry man.

But thank goodness I tend to have back copies of my important stuff! =D

Then we went to Parkway, and ate there! Ban Mian is goooooooood.
Oh! on our way to PP, there was this couple smooching in the MRT. Talk about public display of affection!

I really think that couples should get a room for that. Smooching, I mean.
I'm not saying that it's disgusting, (Hell, I don't find it disgusting.) but as a girl, I would prefer such displays of affection not to be shown to the public.
Hugging and light kiss (like touching of lips) are okay in public. But not french kissing.

Well, you show some, you hide some. I suggest you hide those intimate ones.

Anyway!

I'm gonna do the 'Hi-hat' for my Hi-Hat Cupcakes later today! Must wake up early though!

Thus, I better go sleep now! I've been sleeping real late lately. Around 3am. Last Night, I slept at 4am.

It was a miracle for me to meet Eugene on time today.

And evening today, we're celebrating Pam's birthday!!! Scream 'Yay!' =DDD
