Dear Blogger,

My goodness, today was SUPER FUN. The concert for teachers' day was one of the greatest ones I have ever had!

The first item was performed by 10 teachers, 5 female, 5 male. Basically it was about a new school (SK 1) needing students. So, we have Mr. M (I'm not gonna show the name..) acting as the Principle of SK 1. Miss T was the prefect, and 4 students who are:

1. Some Chinese Teacher
2. Mdm G.
3. Miss C.
4. Mrs S.

The male teachers:

1. Mr L1.
2. Mr C.
3. Mr J.
4. Mr L2.

The whole show was very entertaining and hilarious. We saw all the female teachers acting in our school uniforms (except for Mdm G, she was in her 'choir' uniform). Now since we had no uni for the male teachers, this was what the wore:

1. Some China looking clothes... (with all due respect, they looked like clothes for TAI-CHI..)
2. School boy look: Cap, button up shirt and, no school boy can be complete without this, SHORTS.
3. Shirt and pants... I thought that the pants made his legs look like STICKS.
4. PE teacher look.

Anyway, that was a performance that I doubt I'll forget anytime soon.

We had about 2 Dance performances. One of them was by our Sec 5 seniors. The dance can be described by just one word: Cool.

Great Performance man...

Oh, the second performance was by a student (can't remember her name), and the dance was 'hot'. I suppose that's the word to use. It was one of those cha-cha dance, (No, not the one for old folk) and it was EXCELLENT. She also bought along a boy, whom I think is her little brother, to partner with. The little kid was a good dancer, and he is cute. Not boys-my-age cute, more of little-brother cute.

Isn't it nice to have a sibling?

Smiley, smiley, smiley Smile,

Dear Blogger,

I have no idea where I'm going. I feel like I am just walking and walking; no motivation. I don't even know if I'm choosing to go JC or Poly.

Anyway,

Art was very relaxed, but I think I should be able to complete it by tomorrow.

I think I'm gonna jump down and die if I do not get an A for Art.

I have no idea what to do now. Ok, there's Math...

Oh yes, Teachers' Day is around the corner. I'm thinking of writing the Chinese teachers a nice formal letter, hopefully they will like it... =P

I'm still waiting from the Girl Guides Cookies! I need the box for my sealed sixteen...

To-Do-List:

1. Complete Art Canvas.
2. Write and hand in the 'Time' essay. Or else Debbie will kill me for it.
3. Study for Sc(Bio/Chem) Prac.
4. Wish Eileen Happy Birthday! And ask if she wants anything...
5. Ask Miss Tan to re-teach the Chapter on Nervous System. I'm clueless about it.
6. Complete the big calendar and make sure I follow it.
7. Plan what to get for teachers by 30th Aug.

That all... for now.

I read Claire's blog today. I compared her life with mine. No wonder Dawn JJ and gang told me to relax and loosen up last year. So, it's official:

I have NO life.

Come on, even Daphne's got a (so-called) life. That is, Internet life. I tend to not count it as a 'life'. But at least that's something.

I really want to change myself for the better. I need more confidence and motivation. Note to self: Modelling is not a secure job unless you are one of the top 5 in 'America's Next Top Model'.

Disappointed,
- Sakura

Dear Blogger,

Wow, it seems so long since I last posted. Then again, I haven't been posting regularly since the Prelims and 'O's are drawing near.

Let's start on what I want to talk about today: Appreciation.

There was this incident in school where my teacher returned to the class to look for something she left there.

'We didn't see it'.

That was what someone said. In actual fact, it dropped and no one bothered to pick it up. I don't think many people liked this teacher. A while after she left, Janice said something that just, 'Pang!', hit me hard in not only the face, but in my heart and conscience as well.

if we returned it to her, she might really appreciate it.'

I never thought about it that way. I never thought about the appreciation people get for the little things we do, for the little things we say.

This goes the same for every little thing we do or say. You might not know how much impact it hits the person.

For example, there might be this friend who was just getting on your nerves as you are doing your homework. Then you go 'hm', 'ya', 'orh' on whatever she/he says. Then you just go,

'You know, we have to hand in this piece of work by today.'

It makes the matter worse if you said that in an irritated tone.

Remember, for every little action you make, it may have a great impact on someone else.

Woah, I must remember that as well...

Smilez,
- Sakura

Dear Blogger,

It's finally done!!! My art prep boards, I mean. I managed to complete 7 boards and (hopefully) it is above '19/25 marks' standard. To tell you the truth, I've been slacking. I haven't been doing my regular homework. Need I say more for studies?

That's why I'm determined to complete all my Papers (both 1 & 2) in that 'innocent'-looking green booklet. I really don't want to stand for one whole hour.

I'm currently on a book written by Meg Cabot, 'Avalon High'. Yes, it is another one of those teenage love stories that I absolutely love to read. Haha, I am nosey in love business. However, I am hardly ever interested in net-love things. They are just absurd.

I've finally admitted to myself that I like that guy. Never have I ever thought I would like, or catch an interest in a guy. Not that I'm a lesbian or anything. Sure, there are cute guys here and there, but this kid just got me thinking and wondering about him. (Note: I call everyone kid, whether younger or older than me) This is a first. I mean, sure... I likED this certain movie star once, but that was a crush.

So, it is the same feeling in this case, right? Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'll get over it. School-girl crush, just a matter of time before it wears off.

There was a Chem Practical today. It was super fun. We dealt with Cations and Anions.

R was a blue-green solution. S was a orange solution. Both of them have transtition metals in them. That was a PURE CHEM paper

So, I felt that I've done well for this practical. My aim is to get about the same marks as Carine. She's really good in Chem and I wish to learn more from her.

Let's see what homework(s) do I have for the weekend...

- Math: Finish the green booklet.
- Eng: The compre worksheet.
- Art: Complete canvas for touch-ups

I suppose that's all we have for the weekend... Maybe I'll sleep in my room tonight... hmm...

Nite Smiles,
- Sakura
