I'm back from the orientation camp! and it was way better than expected. (:
I went for the camp feeling all I-am-not-enthu-at-all! But I came out feeling all Let's-cheer-till-we-lose-our-voices!!!
Please note: the vulgarities are out due to the lack of sleep I had. Less than 5 hrs for all 3 days.
F.O.C (Freshman Orientation Camp) : day 1
The whole welcome-ing was really nice. Although I must say, they really caught me off guard. While walking towards them, I thought they were practicing a cheer or something. But the moment we went near them, it's as if we step up on the 'Volume Up!' button; they shouted,
We say welcome~ We say welcome~ We say welcome, welcome, welcome... We say welcome, welcome, welcome We say welcome, welcome, welcome!
Yes, they scared the hell outta me then.
Then I got myself registered with Cass, since I was with her. Turned out that she and I are going to different 'empires'. There were 5 empires:
Ayton Kaistor Ophix Scythia - This my Empire!!! Zilra - That's Cass's and Zong Zhe's Empire!
Basically we learnt a whole fat load of cheers that day. Ice breakers and Station games at night!!!
Oh, and showering was such a wait! Mainly in the girls' bathroom. I was waiting for over 1hr, just to SHOWER. Gosh, bathing can be such a bitch. Haha.
Thanks to hunger and the wait to shower, I ended up sleeping at 3am+ in the morning. And we were suppose to report at 7am the next day! Ended up waking at 6ish to wash up.
However, that night Amanda, Jessica and I was up writing a script for our empire's performance night.
And that, ended the 1st day of F.O.C.
F.O.C: day 2
We nearly had station games. But we couldn't do it as it rained half way. Weather again!
Instead, we had this hand-sign song, and the TP school song! I really found the hand-sign song a waste of time. Then again, I was really sleepy and kept nodding off as they taught the 'song'... Whoops. *grins*
Oh, and halfway during the hand-sign 'lesson', my mom msged me saying,
Call me. Urgent.
That scared me awake.
But everything is alright now; no one had any great fall of death... And hopefully that never happens to anyone.
And once I return to the sports hall, everyone was already doing the TP song and the hand-sign song thingy. TP school song was quite nice, and we didn't exactly have to sing. Just be enthu can already :D
Oh, and did I mention that I saw Zong Zhe? I thought I'll be the only 'SKY-ian' going TP. Haha. He's in Zilra, but it doesn't seems like he knows Cass. Different sub-empires maybe?
And I forgot with course is he going to. I can't even remember the school. Hell, I'm just gonna guess that he's going business school. Oh, I don't know. =.=
Oh, and there was this OGL in Scythia, that seriously looks like him. ZZ, I mean. Does he have any brothers? lol.
Back to the day, or rather, night, we had MASS DANCE!!! Which, was taught while I was settling matters around TP during the afternoon.
And after mass dance we had another dance! Which shall remain a secret unless you ask me face-to-face! ;)
That night was one of the best nights ever! We had Jam and Hop!!! it's kinda like clubbing, except without the air cons. Haha.
It was really fun (: Everyone was sticky, so we didn't care about getting even dirtier. Everyone just shook their booties and moved to the beat! Jessica was very enthu as well! Very good dance partner! :D
There were people who did the break-dancing, that signature shaking, and all that. It was truly an enjoyable night!
They ended the Jam and Hop at 12.35pm. Sad, I really wanted to dance more. Trust me people, it's really fun.
So, we had the usually shower wait and shower. By the time I came out, it was already 2am+. and I was one of the lucky 'front' few.
Amanda and I were really hungry, but this time, there wasn't anything to eat! We ended up order Macs with a whole fat load of other Scythians. We ordered the food at 2.30am, and they said that the earliest they can get there is 3.45am.
Keyword: EARLIEST.
But we were still waiting for our food at 4.00am. Please note that we ordered at about 2.30am. After waiting for another 45mins, our food finally came!!! Most of us finished it around 5am+. Then we headed back to the sports complex for our sleep!
Oh, and we were supposed to report at 7am in the morning.
I slept at 5.30am. I woke up about 1h and 30mins later. At 7am.
Fuck the OGLs. I need my sleep, or else you'll be the ones suffering. :P I still like my OGLs. :D
F.O.C: day 3
It was water day! We had water games! And our first stop was the one where they had flour and water. Oh, and one very nice apple which our team finished. :D
My poor KCCO t-shirt... *sigh*
I'm getting sleepy and lazy right now, so I'm gonna just skip the rest of Day 3.

Okay. I'm sleepy and getting giddier by the minute. Need sleep.... =.=
