Now, as to what I should discuss about today...
Okay, Love and Marriage.
Now, Singapore hopes that the population gets bigger, or else we'll be facing the more-old-people-than-young-people-in-Singapore crisis.
Or something like that. You know, the ageing population thingy...
The thing is, the best time for women to give brith is when they are between the ages of 20-30. Any older, and the women risk not only the baby's life, but their own lives as well.
Now, to have children, you need a family which most importantly needs a Father and a Mother.To make sure that the children gets a full family, the parents must not get divorced.
It's the poor kids who will have to pay the price when something like that happens.
This is probably what you need to know before you get married:
Dating Time: At least 5 years. Engagement time: About 1-2 years. (So that your partner knows what he/she is getting into.)Wedding and Married time: FOREVER.
Total time: about 8 years before you can get a baby. (inclusive of 9 months for child)
If we really take that long to get a Husband/Wife, we're left with 2 years to produce all the kids the government wants.
Fine, not ALL the children the government wants. The point is that we produce enough kids to prevent an ageing population from occuring.
Thus, the future parents will have about 10 years to produce children! Sounds easy?
NOT.
The thing is, education takes up practically 3/8 of our lives. Working takes up 1/2 of our lives. The remaining 1/8?
Your baby to toddeller's life.
Of course, this varies for different people.

1-3 yrs old: Baby/Toddeller. 4-6 yrs old: Basic Education. (Kindergarden) 7-12 yrs old: Elementary Education. (Primary School) 13-16/17 yrs old: Intermideate Education. (Secondary School) 18 and up: Advanced Education. (JC/Poly/University) (For guys) 18+ : National Service. (NS for 2 years and up)
Hopefully, you get the main idea now.
By the time you finish University or NS, you're already 20+ years old. Now include the getting-towards-marriage time of 8 years.
20 + 8 = 28 years old.
OR
21 + 8 = 29 years old.
OR even worse:
22 + 8 = 30 years old!
Now, how will you be able to get the time and f*ck your husband/wife until a healthy child is born?
