I had an interview on Friday, and basically I'll work as a advertisment representative if I get the job.
After the interview (it was a really quick and short one.), I called Shawn to let him know that my interview was over. Then he told me not to go over yet as it is raining VERY heavily.
Even though my house isn't all that far from ECP, I decided to not go to the chalet yet. Laziness got the better of me.
So, I returned to the comfort of my own home and, well, became a lazy worm. (You know, there's this Chinese kids song: Ni Shi Lan Duo Chong, Ni Shi Lan Duo Chong, Ni De Yi Shen Do Shi Chong...)
At around 3.30pm, I received a call from Dynamic Asia. And they said I got the job!!! Woot!
Then at about 4pm+, I messaged Yun Ting and told her that I'll be on my way. It's quite a distance to the chalet from the underpass.
Okay, maybe calling it QUITE a distance is an understatement. It's far enough to make my slippers betray me and hurt my feet.
But what the heck, walking is good excerise!
And the 'beings' up there just wanted me WET. I was walking towards the chalet, enjoying the sea view, when it started raining AGAIN. Waiting at the shelter is just plainly a waste of time, so I just walked in the rain. It ain't all that bad.
Halfway, I saw Justin and Zong Zhe (did I get his name right?) walking towards the other way, a.k.a away from the chalet. So I thought,
"Oh, they must be going back already..."
But it turns out that they are trying to find that chalet as well. :D Be grateful you two met me, or else you would have to walk ALL THE WAY back from where you started.
And finally, we reached the chalet D2 safe and sound... and pretty wet.
It turns out that the chalet is bigger than what I expected. This shows how small the 'one rooms' chalet in Pasir Ris are.
Nearly everyone was watching a movie upstairs. Except for a few guys who stayed downstairs. And Chee Keong who kindly greeted us without a shirt. Dude, I don't want to dirty my eyes...
Just Kidding :D
The rest were upstairs watching the movie, and Sam wasn't there yet. Let's fast-forward to the guys fighting each other and... erm... getting a little intimate...
Note: No one was... erm, hurt, during this fight.
The guys bullying Pam.
Fight between Pam and Jake. Police officer Chee Keong tries to stop it.
Police officer cK lectures Pam.
Jake, getting ready to hit Pam.
The fight continues!
Pam taking as much amo as possible!
This is utter fun. No one was screaming except for maybe Pam when Jake and some other guys hit her with the pillows.
cK and guess who's the other party?
Ahem...
cK regreting his.. erm.. actions?
Aron and cK...
I have no idea how he managed to squish himself in there...
As for me, I stay at one corner of the bed taking some of those photos with Matthew's cam.
Fast forward to dinner time. The some of the people who knew how to ride a bike (basically, everyone there but me.) went to buy food back for us :D
While waiting for the food, Sam came with the manjong set! Woot! and it's like, we started to play until the rest are back. Which was very long.
Yun Ting managed to convince Huan Li come over for the Chalet as well, so we went and fetch her to the chalet. Hey, the more the merrier!
At around... 11-ish? We watched Step Up. Although I feel that the plot had not enough 'ummh!' factor, I still like the music and dance.
After the show, we had to send Huan Li home and we went to play pool! Albert, Chee Keong, Eric, Keith, Makoto, Yun Ting, Zhong Ze and I went to the pool place above Macs.
And I finally learnt how to play pool!!! Yay!!!
Many thanks to my 'Shi Fu' : Chee Keong and Eric. *bows*
And the freakin' smoke smell there was really strong. There was a sign that said: 'No Smoking' somemore lah.... We played til' about 4-ish and then made our way back to the chalet.
By the time we reached there, the rest were asleep. Then came the problem of sleeping. Where are the 3 girls gonna sleep?
Sam was already asleep, so were Eric, Eugene, Matthew, and Shawn. But later Sam woke up and played manjong through the remaining night... together with Justin, Keith and I.
Since Keith took out his contacts, he could barely see the tiles we were throwing out. He had to pick up the tiles, put them up to his face and see. He called himself the 'Blind Man'.
And it turns out: The 'Blind Man' Won. Then we switched places in hope of getting better 'Feng Shui'.
But soon, my body NEEDED to sleep and I backed out of the game. The time was 6.30am. That's, like, the time I have to wake up for school in the past lah...
It wasn't easy to find a place and sleep. So, I slept beside Yun Ting. That was the first time I slept close to guys who aren't related to me by blood.
One mattress, at least 5 heads.
But that rest was horrible. I need to sleep with a sense of security. Or else I'll not have a peaceful sleep. I'll wake a number of times and try to get back to sleep again.
Oh, and I think someone might have stepped on my hair when I was asleep. Either that, or someone sleeping opposite me is unknowingly using my hair as his pillow.
I know I have nice hair (I'm lying to myself), but please don't sleep on it. :P
When I woke up, Eugene was about to leave for work. and Eric alreacy left. Sam and some other guys were playing cards. Sam really has stamina, man... With me awake, they had enough players to play manjong. So, we played manjong again! :)
Soon, we had to wake the remaining sleepy heads and check out of the chalet. Oh, and return these 11 bikes.
We went for breakfast at the Marine Parade Hawker Centre. On our way through the underpass, I took a picture of everyone. :)
I was suppose to take more pictures... But I forgot.
Terrible mermory...
