Woah, yesterday was tiring. We went to town (again) in search of the grad dresses for Sarah and I.
Anyway, we went to the Daniel Yam at Heren in search of the dress Sarah had her eyes on. She couldn't find it at Tangs. However, they found another dress. I must say, the cutting at the bottom reminds me of the bubble dress Daphne had her eyes on.
The top part of the dress looks good on Sarah, but the cutting at the bottom is something that I do not like...
Something caught my eye in that store, but nearly everything in there are over S$100.00!
We moved on from place to place in search my grad wear. Cassie was kinda focused on getting a skirt for me, as there's a top that suits me.
To tell you the truth, I really wanted a one-piece. It is because I hardly get to wear one, thus Graduation seems to be a perfect time to wear it. For once, I want to look different; to look more feminine.
Thus, after going all the way up and back down in Heren, I decided to return to Daniel Yam and tried on that red dress. I expected the dress to reach around my knee, but it went all the way to my ankles.
It turned out really nice! The lucky braclet really found something to my satisfaction. :)
The down side was that it cost S$114.00, which was WAY out of my budget.
Now I just have to convince my Mum on how nice that dress looks, and hope that she'll give me the green light on that dress.
*Crosses fingers*
Next stop was Tangs. It was raining, but we managed to get there dry. :) Once again, we entered the expensive shop known as Daniel Yam (yes, there's one there as well) , and guess what?
Cassie found the dress Sarah originally wanted!
Then we ended up getting Sarah to wear different clothings. There was the one she originally wanted, and another strapless, indego-gold dress, and the dress her Mum picked for her, and another one which I can't remember...
After many discussions, we finally reached the crucial decision:
The green dress, or the indego-gold dress.
(This sounds as if it is a matter of life or death...)
Anyway, Fate decided that Sarah takes the indego-gold dress. There was only one green dress, size S, and the condition wasn't as good as the indego-gold one.
Thus, this ends Sarah's journey to find her Grad Dress.
We went to Far East after that to look for something for me. There were a lot of dresses that are nice, but I'm not sure if I'll be satisfied with it...
It's a feeling I get when I shop for things. If it is something I need, I look for the satisfaction that thing can give to me. It's kind of difficult to explain it, since it is a 'gut' feeling.
If I'm not satisfied with what I've gotten, I'll regret spending the money.
