I haven't been updating my blogg from a short time... so, let's talk about Cassie's surprise Birthday Party! (I can finally say it out! Whoo hoo!)
Sat: We (Cass, Deb, Nessa and I) went Orchard. I hardly set foot into Orchard, so Cass and Deb became my tour guides and showed me where Taka, Wisma, Pargon and Far East. It was an enjoyable 'outing'. Deb enjoyed the fact that she was pissing Cass off, and Cass was angry--no, wait-- furious with Charms as she was 2hrs late. So she ended up not turning up for the 'distraction', but she came for the party. I stayed until 10+ for the party. That was the latest I've ever stayed outside without family members.
Mon: Chem was very dramatic. We had practical on alcohols and esters. I did the 'ester' practical as it was 2-to-1-practical. I was doing alone as Sukhpreet didn't come.
Anyway, concentrated sulphric acid was needed in the 'ester' experiment. My expriment went well as the sweet smelling ester was formed. Then my Chem teach went 'What happened?!' Apparently, Alisa accidentally dripped some drops of the concentrated acid onto her hand and my Chem teach gave her a BIG fuss. Looks like she's going to be a good mother.
I've noticed that our class is very noisy and untidy when it comes to Chem Practicals. If you ever step into a Chem lab with my class inside, you'll be hearing a number of test-tubes breaking, a frequent 'Ow!' or 'Ouch!' sound and, of course, constant noise. The funny part is that our class is very quiet and neat when it comes to our Biology Practical. Weird?
Tues: Today was irritating when it came to our Art period. Once again, my Art teach locked both the Art room doors, denying our entrance into the Art room, WHICH (might I add) contains nearly all the Art students' 'O' level coursework.
Now, isn't our Art teacher just BRILLIANT?
So Sarah and I went to the office to get the key (as usual), but our OM said we need a teacher's permission to get the key. Then we tried to look for our Art teach, who DIDN'T tell us that he was going on course today. We wasted a lot of time trying to convice the OM to give us the key. Then, we finally said,
"Our 'O' level coursework is in there and we have to hand it in by next week. Today is the only day we can finish up our Art as we have no more Art lessons due to BMW. Then, FINALLY the VP allows us to enter the Art to retrive our canvas to bring it back home. Wanna know the reason why we cannot stay in the Art room to paint? It is because....
We were left with only 10mins to the next period, which is Assembly.
It is just GREAT, isn't it? We wasted about 50mins trying to get the key to do our work, and the result?
We still didn't get the key.
However, we got to bring our 'gigantic' canvas back home! Now isn't that just stupendous?
(Yes, there is a HINT of sarcasm in the line above. Not.)
For the next 3 days, we will be wasting our time away with BMW. Not that it is not enjoyable or anything like that. Okay, I'll rephrase my sentence:
I will be enjoyingly wasting my time away with BMW.
I really like Book and Music Week, but I think I have a lot to study as my Prelims are right around the corner.
Crap, and I'm hungry. Going to bed hungry. Well, let's look on the bright side, no nightmares.
*growl* excuse my stomach, - Sakura
